Hence, we should never stop enquiring openly or be hesitant to ask questions. If we stop questioning, we shall stop learning. A young mind is full of inquisitive thoughts, the spirit of enquiry in due course of time starts receding and the mind cedes to learn new things.

Abhi.org is a platform that breaks all the shackles by encouraging you to openly ask questions to your peers or co-learners who have already had similar doubts and have resolved them successfully. This initiative is conceived and developed by a young mind who found out that a human during his/her formative years has a lot to learn and unlearn.

Abhis.org is a social initiative of Abhinav Huralikoppi. While talking with his friends and classmates, he observed that concepts which were explained by friends were better understood because stress was given to points where maximum confusion exists.

Abhinav’s entrepreneurial mindset has set him to bridge the gap in regular learning which is instructional and time bound. The website aims to bring together fellow students who themselves are in the process of learning and can better understand the difficulties that fellow students face while trying to understand a particular aspect of a subject.

About Abhinav Huralikoppi

Abhinav Huralikoppi is a prodigy who through this initiative intends to encourage peer learning which in itself is a more engaging and fun way of learning with an open mind approach.

Abhinav is an adaptive self-learner and has achieved many milestones at a young age. He has many badges (Progressive Awards) to his credits from the popular Khan Academy, an online learning platform,through which he has been self-learning since the age of 6.

He has extensive knowledge in topics like early Math, Arithmetic, pre-Algebra. He likes to learn new topics through technology and keep himself updated. Currently he is learning various coding languages and aiming to be relevant with the latest technologies like 3D Printing, Artificial Intelligence and others.

A simple process

How it works

To be a part of this exciting learning process, a student will have to follow three easy steps.

1. Join Facebook Group

We have formed a group on Facebook and we invite interested students to join us. Students above the age of 6 years can express their interest to become a part of our Facebook group either through own account or through the Facebook account of their parents. Few basic questions needs to be answered. Once the account is validated, the administrator will accept the student as part of the Facebook group.

2. Schedule a Session

A student who has good knowledge of a particular topic from the syllabus, can express his/her interest of teaching it to fellow peer-learners by starting a new Post in the Facebook group. In the Facebook Post, the student will mention the subject, topic and the time at which the session is planned. Peers can confirm their attendance by liking the Post. Queries can be asked in the "Comments" section.

3. Interact & Learn

The session will be conducted on Zoom Cloud Meetings at the scheduled time. The facilitator of the session will have access to share his/her screen, which enables use of PowerPoint presentations and videos to deliver an impactful session. Peers need to keep their microphone on mute. With the permission of host, peers can unmute either to ask a question or if they have something to contribute to the ongoing discussion.
